Approach to teaching

 

The word "reactive" doesn’t exist in my mind. A student should at all times be ready to simulate exam-time conditions.He/She must not only be able to cope with pressure but also to deliver the knowledge the examiner requires to be presented.

 

I cannot stress enough the importance of thoroughly studying the study text and attempting exam kit under timed conditions.

 

Therefore, to build confidence and see measurable progress and to learn positively from mistakes made I urge all students to focus on the process and not the outcomes. Right approach is the key ingredient for success.

 

ACCA is a challenging qualification and therefore I prefer starting classes 5 to 6 months before the final exam so that the student is fully aware of the  syllabus and has enough time adapt to examiners' approach.
